Founder and Managing Director of SPP Advisors, LLC and its predecessor entity Security Performance Partners, LLC, a business and financial advisory firm that provides mergers, acquisitions, financing, divestitures, fair market valuations, business advisory and financial consulting to participants in the electronic security and PERS industry. Services include sale mandates and auctions, acquisition services, financing services, divestiture, and financial restructuring services to lenders and companies in the alarm security industry; negotiating credit facility and capital restructurings, forbearance agreements, operational and financial oversight and restructuring of defaulted credits and underlying collateral, orchestrating and managing secured party sales and asset dispositions.

 

March 1998-September 2000:

Founder and President, Peter Flynn Associates, Inc. Provided mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fair market valuations, business advisory and financial consulting in the electronic security industry.

 

1992-1998:

Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, Dixon Capital Associates, Inc. heading the firms efforts in buyer and seller representations in highly fragmented service industries including the security and wireless communications industries. Flynn is a frequent speaker on Mergers & Acquisitions and also on financial operations at numerous industry meetings. Several articles authored and contributed to by Flynn have appeared in industry publications.

Managing Director and Founding Member of Security Performance Partners, LLC a business and financial advisory firm that provides mergers and acquisition, divestiture, and financial restructuring services to lenders, as well as highly leveraged companies, in the alarm security industry, including negotiating credit facility and capital restructurings, forbearance agreements, operational and financial oversight and restructuring of defaulted credits and underlying collateral, orchestrating and managing secured sales and asset dispositions.

 

1988 to 1998:

President of MHS Associates, an investment banking firm servicing the alarm industry. Represented owners of regional alarm companies, to obtain debt, equity, arranged and negotiated mergers, acquisitions, sales and provided business and financial consulting.

 

1983 to 1988:

Connecticut Bank and Trust Company, Vice President and Manager of Specialized Lending. Managed a $500 million portfolio cash flow based loans, $150 million of which were in the alarm security industry.

SPP Advisors, LLC, Director. Instrumental in production, negotiation, and execution of security and alarm industry's largest deals in 2014.  Represents SPP Advisors at all major security/PERS industry conferences and events. 

 

2009 - 2013: 

Operative for numerous political campaigns, including congressional, senate, and presidential races.

 

Flynn earned a B.A. in Communication from Boston College, having graduated from Georgetown Preparatory School.
